Well. The plans changed. The jobsite is shifting work around and I get to come home today. I don't have time to arrange the celebration at my shop on Saturday, as I had originally planned, but at least I will be home for Easter. I'll take that!!!!!

The day we left on vacation it showed it was delivered to our mailbox. But when we got back, it wasn’t in there. We have a community mailbox and you can only access it by key… So nobody could’ve gotten in the mailbox and stole it. Could you DM me the address you showed that it was sent to? This has happened a couple of other times with different vendors where it got delivered to the wrong address and their mailbox.

18 years ago, today, I promised this wonderful woman forever. I promised her I would always take care of her and be forever faithful. So far, so good.😁 We had met one evening 3 years before. Just some simple conversation, and we both went our separate ways. She was dating someone, and I was a filthy dog in my early 20s with no desire to settle down. She was too much of a good girl, shy and innocent. It was never meant to be. Time passed, and I remember coming home from the road and my home was filled with people I didn't know. Strangers were in my bed. My roommate had decided to throw a party and it got carried away, I guess. Anyway, I grabbed a 6 pack of beer and went out on my dock and stuck my feet in the water and sat there thinking. I wasn't religious at all, but I remember making a deal with God. I told him he could have all of that material stuff if he would just give me one person to be good to. One kind heart to share a real life with. That was 2005. The following Spring, I was putting a koi pond in my front yard with a friend, and we heard a car slam on its brakes and nearly wreck in the road. I looked up, and this little blonde was just waving and smiling as hard as she could. I didn't know her. I figured she was waving at my friend.🤷‍♂️. She pulls in the driveway and was like, "Do you live here? That's crazy, because I live right over the hill!" (We had met 100 miles from here at ETSU) Anyway, I invited her over that night to watch a movie. She was working at a bakery at the time, and she showed up that evening with a peanut butter pie..... and she just..... never..... left...... She has been by my side every day since. God kept his deal with me. He gave me that one person, and in 2007 we married. In 2009, I lost everything. Complete bankruptcy. Totally broke. (That was my part of the deal, I guess) I remember sitting her down and telling her she could leave. I was a loser. Dead broke. She deserved better. She told me she didn't care if we lived in a box. We were in this together. And together we have tackled it all ever since. She is my rock, my soul, and my best friend. She gave me two beautiful children and a life of absolute zero drama or hassle. We have never even had an argument. It's simple. It just works. So happy anniversary,beautiful. Here's to 60 more. @babblingbug

Great day at the shop. Had a cool visitor stop by and chase sticks with my son! Got a ton of stuff moved around and the red car over to the fab side.
