@wikimapper @huguruma_izumi They don't have the experience we have in Walmart because of demographic and culture differences. I go to Walmart after 8 and I see either a bathroom covered in something unholy or a random bundle of bananas in the ice cream cabinet.

@nikutaberuru Gundam Seed it gets a lot of hate for some reason (at least I've heard it does) this series has everything all in one that makes Gundam Gundam. The romance the politics the Shounen character who doesn't want war. It's your typical Gundam Plot with even its own Char knock off.

A lot of anime shows dubbed into English are often very "woke". However, the official English dub of "Ghost Stories" is completely crazy lol. The original show in Japanese is nothing like this.

If anything it's just a literal interpretation of how someone holier than though would be in this situation for a character her age. For a jokey dub they made the Christian girl character hilarious. All she does is be genuine

@harukaawake For many decades, late night comedy shows on American television constantly mock conservatives and Republican politicians-- it's become a very tiresome, cliched, lazy style of comedy (Saturday Night Live is a blatant example, see gif.) That dub incorporates that kind of humor.
