@badhonmk Thanks a lot, vai. I don't have any such plan. As you know, it's nearly impossible to do anything good there. I always wonder, how researchers like you, with vast knowledge of biodiversity assessments, survive there!!

I have finally decided to step off my current job and focus entirely on developing research proposals for postdoctoral positions and writing up manuscripts. As I aspire to become an academic, I believe it is a timely decision. It was nice meeting some amazing people at the ALA.
