Toronto being known as ‘New York run by the Swiss’ is way too generous. Toronto is significantly more uptight & impatient. In Switzerland one can drink as they please with no signs of societal collapse that TO frets about. Plus, folks politely put all their empties in the bin.

@dannychau I kind of dread the trade deadline nowadays in anticipation of a somewhat underwhelming Raptors deal where they give up another first rounder.

This is the fourth trade deadline in a row in which the Raptors have traded a first rounder to acquire a player about to hit free agency (Thaddeus Young, Jakob Poeltl, Kelly Olynyk, Brandon Ingram).

@beerology When it comes to bar & pub food, especially in Toronto, I've long wished that dishes were half the size for half the price. Too much, too expensive. I know that won't happen but smaller, simpler dishes would be awesome, IMO.
