@SpiderPato98 yep! but even that buddy-romance thing they want to do with jubes and beto is pretty much also what the tabby and ric dynamic, and the coming out metaphor would actually work better if the mutant happens to be canonically gay. anyway lots of poor decisions taken

I find it funny because of how light they made Beto he looks like Rictor and this is like looking into a universe where they added used Julio to this show

@SpiderPato98 I know! I don't watch the show but even I see the wasted opportunities there. Also, the origin story of roberto in the show being him kidnapped by an antimutant group and then being saved by the x-men like ??? that's also rictor's first comic appearance

i'm so glad they showed only straight couples in this scene, because it makes it clear that Nakamura isn't just going through heartbreak, but is going through a specific gay experience

I’m not a Star Wars fan by any means.. BUT THIS WAS SUCH A THRILL RIDE! The action. The suspense. The manipulation. Maul was always a standout character design & I’m glad I took the leap! More seasons, please! Also, the team that painted those backgrounds, INCREASE THEIR PAY!
