The Arch Linux Core Dev Team is asking r/ArchLinux sub-reddit mods to censor people unhappy with Age Verification in Arch. It appears that Arch Linux considers criticism of Age Verification to be a "Code of Conduct" violation. From an r/ArchLinux moderator responding to a censored user: "I got a DM from much higher up the chain asking me to remove it. Whilst I technically don't answer to them, I do respect their wishes. They don't like someone they consider as part of the core dev teams being called out like that. What you did broke the Arch Linux CoC."

At lifetime fitness and I’m gifted with the conversation of two people speaking authoritatively on a subject they’re both completely unknowledgeable on. And it’s great hearing them reaffirm what the other is saying as if they both know. The irony of it all is beyond satisfying.

It’s bad enough we’re breeding fucking idiots due to a lack of funding in our education system reflected in the fact that we’re at the bottom of education nationwide, but these types of laws add cultural nuance on top of that stupidity, yielding, more idiots, and safety problems.
