@valerie_luyckx @eric_weinhandl Maybe not a surprise? Size of effect larger than I expected. And GBD data suggests increased CKD morbidity in some, but by no means all, hot countries. Also a first attempt at disentangling heat from access to care and other important context specific effects on eGFR decline.

@eric_weinhandl Agree, but this is not a surprise, GBD shows an association with CKD mortality. Would it not have been obvious to look if there was protection (or harm if people are drier) from SGLT2i? Seems a strange “oversight”…?
