@SteamDeckHQ @bezza191 Weird to me, it seem your website doesn't respect my country legislation. Oh well shouldn't have insult my country internet law. But thanks for for not even being able to say what was hateful toward trans

The lead developer for iiSU, a new emulator frontend, has stepped down from the project after past hateful comments were discovered:

English

@SpyUnamed @SteamDeckHQ Because I don't need to quote them, if you had any genuine interest in seeing them, you would have.
And there isn't any doxxing in that article anywhere so I have no idea what you're on about.
It's clear you've decided to an angry kid about this, I can't change that. So goodbye
English

@bezza191 @SteamDeckHQ And why you can t quote those messages ? Isnt because they r nothing insulting in them ? Nothing that deserve harrasing and doxing the guy and his relative ? Why la reaction is over the top and not their ?
English

@SpyUnamed @SteamDeckHQ My point was that your reaction was so ridiculously over the top for the content of the article.
But aside from that, there's a link in the article directly to the Bluesky thread containing some of the messages.
English

@bezza191 @SteamDeckHQ So what was insulting toward the trans comunity ?
English

@SpyUnamed @SteamDeckHQ You need to take reeeeaallyy deep breath and just calm down
I read the article too, and it's reporting that's all. There's not some huge bias one way or the other and it shows an interest on things moving forward. Nothing wrong in that.
English

@SteamDeckHQ Just read your piece of shit article. You dumb ass retard, I want to believe your dishonest or retard but maybe you really believe in the shit you wrote

@bezza191 @bradcolbow It might work with Home Manager without the full OS. You can install Home Manager on other distros so it might be worth trying. It ships with a custom installer that sets up the wine prefixes for you.
English

@ngolos @bradcolbow I meant personal data also - no such thing as truly free
I'm glad the ai stuff seems to be optional though so that's a small mercy
English

@bezza191 @bradcolbow Well they said ( i mean affinity) they dont use your data for training ai model) your creativity is yours only
English

@minwatermax @bradcolbow Found it
github.com/mrshmllow/affi…
And it includes sources used to create it
Guess I know what my weekend project is!
English

@bezza191 @bradcolbow Well - it's because I'm using NixOS and someone packaged it as a flake called affinity-nix. I know that there's a forum post out there that has a Bottles script that should work for other distros.
English

@minwatermax @bradcolbow Appreciate the info - I'll get to looking
Thanks
English

@minwatermax @bradcolbow You have v2 working on wine?
I own it, but can't use it under Linux currently
It wouldn't work last I tried - any tips or a link to your setup steps?
English

@bezza191 @bradcolbow Been using V2 on Wine. If they have any cloud interaction with my data, I'll just ignore the new version and up my donation to Graphite.
English

@RoyalMailHelp hi can I get some assistance regarding a parcel that hasn't been collected?
English

@SteamDeckHQ It's also included in the Splinter Cell legacy collection, despite that being on steam a couple of years ago
If you own the legacy collection you can pick up SC:PT as a "Complete the set" option at 40% off!
English

Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow got a surprise Steam release out of nowhere, so we tested it on the #SteamDeck, and despite its issues, it is playable on the go:

@bezza191 You aren't wrong! And thank you. The second day is done and I am writing up articles from the event over the last two days.
English

@SteamDeckHQ All good. I knew it would likely bug you if you saw it later
Enjoy your TGS
English

@bezza191 This is what I get for being at an event all day and posting quickly. Thank you for the catch! Should be fixed now.
English

@carygolomb Unless it's Ubisoft - then it's how you get your surrounding POIs
English

@DMouse9000 @carygolomb I would encourage you to check out ES-DE as a front end or if you want something all in one then retrodeck is a great option, with a great dev.
As for Dolphin, its last update was 2 months ago so may be worth another look
English

@carygolomb On that note I wish more emulators had a big screen option that boots into a gamepad UI. I know duckstation had one that seems to work well, and I hope dolphin gets around to it since when the steam version fell through, but it's been a long time without any update.
English

@carygolomb And even though I doubt I'll buy one (I've got the 2024 mini and it's great) I'll definitely be interested to see how it shakes out
I think it will be a case where the device that follows it could reap allot of benefits
English

@bezza191 Its already going to be priced very high.
But I will do benches with and without the pack on to see how it impacts things
English

So this confirms that the "backpack" for the battery actually directly connects without an additional cable.
This is what I hoped would be the case!
