The finished logo (which I did in 'lined' and 'solid' versions for different contexts, as well as a 'shield' alternate version) is meant to be an ampersand, obviously, but also evokes an infinity symbol as well as the iconography used to represent branching or forking in Git.

I've spent a little bit too much time on this, but are finally pleased to introduce y'all to our brand new logo mark/icon:
