So this Glasgow student just got himself in proper trouble with the FBI over aircraft pics.
His name’s Tianrui Liang, 21, Chinese guy studying aeronautical engineering at Glasgow Uni. He’s a massive aviation geek... been travelling round the UK snapping all sorts of aircrafts for his own collection. But he took it too far.
End of March he was at Offutt Air Force Base in Nebraska (that’s where US Strategic Command is) sitting in his car with a long lens, taking shots of the E-4B Doomsday Plane and an RC-135. Someone clocked him, reported it, and on 7 April the FBI nicked him at JFK while he was trying to fly back to Scotland.
He got bail at first then they yanked it and said he’s a high flight risk. Now he’s back inside facing charges for photographing military equipment without permission. He told them it was just for fun, but obviously the Doomsday Plane isn’t something you just casually snap from the perimeter.
Kinda mad how a hobby can land you in this much shit. What do you make of it... innocent plane nerd who didn’t think, or were they right to come down hard?

Golfing legend Tiger Woods was arrested for suspicion of a DUI after being involved in a rollover crash in Martin County, Florida today, according to local police. Police said that initial investigations showed that Woods was not injured in the crash.

I don't always agree with @DrRandPaul or @MassieforKY , but I think there are two essential and critical elements of our republic many have lost sight of:
- Just because I am a U.S. citizen doesn't mean I get a say in who represents folks in Kentucky. I am a citizen of Texas, and I get a say in my representatives here. Too many people on social media seem to think they have a right to tee off on politicians who represent others. Stay in your lane, folks.
- They must be doing something right in Kentucky, because apparently they have largely avoided the "Right Wokeness" that has plagued the rest of the country in recent years where a lack of ideological purity from a national perspective is an electoral death sentence. Regional interests should matter, and national political winds should never supplant that.
Kudos to both Sen. Paul and Rep. Massie for staying true to their beliefs and kudos to their constituents for not bowing to outside pressures.

Fox News has learned that the Commander of the 82nd Airborne Division Maj Gen Brandon Tegtmeier and his “command element,” members of his headquarters staff, have been ordered to deploy to the Middle East as the Pentagon and White House weigh whether to send the 82nd Airborne Division to the Middle East for possible land operations.
There has been speculation that the US would use ground forces to possibly take Kharg Island or for other missions inside Iran. This would be a first step needed to plan for such a contingency.
NYT was first to report yesterday that the Pentagon was weighing whether to send the 82nd Airborne.
