🇩🇪 Approximately 20,000 rounds of ammunition intended for the German Army (Bundeswehr) were stolen overnight last Monday and Tuesday from a civilian cargo truck parked in an unsecured lot in an industrial area near Burg, Saxony-Anhalt. The shipment included about 10,000 live handgun rounds, 9,900 blank rounds for automatic weapons, and smoke munitions. The truck driver, who was transporting the supplies for the German armed forces, discovered the theft the following morning when arriving at a nearby barracks. Authorities believe the theft was planned in advance. No arrests have been made, and the Defense Ministry has initiated a full investigation into the security breach.
