8/ It's done. The case came with an intake fan, but I don't have any spare fans for exhaust with the right cables. One thing I remember pissing me off about this board is that there's only one case fan header and it's right at the bottom. It's a Northwood, it should be fine.

1/ Join me while I build my early (2003) XP gaming PC. I will start with a wildly inappropriate case because it's the only spare one I have except for an aluminium one with a window and that clearly has to be used for the late XP SLI system. My peripherals are black though.

I moved from Oklahoma to TX in 99 for my first teaching job. I had a tiny little efficiency/studio apartment and no TV. I got myself a TV tuner card, the cable guy almost refused to install my cable when he saw what I was hooking it up to. He finally said "fine, I'll hook your cable, but I'm not testing it on that, it's up to you to get it working."

Is there anything more mid-2000s than watching digital TV on Windows XP with a questionable frame rate?
