The BrAPI Project is 10 years old today!!!! June 20, 2014 is the first documented meeting of the BrAPI community. There were 4 people at that meeting, now we are a community of 250+. Thank you to everyone for your contributions to this project making it a success!! #brapi

@OldTiredGrumpy Absolutely correct ... but, as far as I know, no one documented that meeting or remembers exactly what day it was on. I picked June 20 as the beginning of documented history 😀

@breedingapi I think the concept really began to develop at a meeting host by Gary Atlin at the Gates Foundation in Seattle.

We've just release a new version of #Helium mainly focussing on @breedingapi trait data import. We've also added support for more parent type options and improved rendering quality on mobile devices, though 🚀 #pedigree #visualization helium.hutton.ac.uk
