@citizentvkenya the kalongolongo has began...notice he didn't offer those posts in 2023 but one year to 2027 forget the tokenism part...how unfortunate

@citizentvkenya So TSC won't consider a teacher's qualifications, certificates and competences but will pay greater attention to State House advisory notes

@citizentvkenya Kenyans who queued in 2022 to vote in this criminal subjected our beloved nation to maddening looting taking place in govt. Poor kids have no tuition but Kasongo has tens of billions to bribe thousands of delegates in State House who take home at least Sh10,000 each

@citizentvkenya Tokenism. Instead of solving the problem of teacher employment. This man is supposed to be a village politician, not a president of a republic

John Kinuthia was the founder of the QuickMart chain of supermarkets, Kenya’s second-largest retailer, with a store footprint of 60 outlets spread across 16 counties. Quickmart was founded in 2006 in Nakuru by the late John Kinuthia, a businessman. Initially, it was a family-owned and operated business.
John passed away in 2016, leaving the management of the supermarket to his family. By 2017, under their leadership, the supermarket achieved a milestone, with its gross annual sales surpassing KSh 1 billion.
His son, Duncan Kinuthia, took over the leadership role and served as the Managing Director of Quick Mart Ltd.
In 2019, the retailer merged with Tumaini Self-Service Limited to form the Quickmart brand.
Currently, Quickmart is co owned by Adenia Partners of Mauritius, through their owned Kenyan subsidiary company, Sokoni Retail Kenya. The Adenia Partners found the supermarket already operating a chain of 11 supermarkets in Kenya, with 9 stores that are located in Nairobi and another two stores in the town of Nakuru.
Adenia partners is the majority owner of the combined company. QuickMart and Tumaini together resulted in 25 stores, making the merged entity the third largest retailer in Kenya by store network.
Additionally, Peter Kang’iri joined Quickmart in 2019 and is the CEO of Quickmart, while Duncan Kinuthia is still the managing director of the Supermarket. They have a list of 60 branches in 16 counties in Kenya. The Supermarket mostly operates twenty-four hours (24 hours) with most of its branches in Nairobi.
Nairobi County hosts most of QuickMart’s branches located in Buru Buru, Chaka, Donholm, Eastern By-Pass (two branches), Embakasi, Fedha, Jipange near Thika Road, and Kahawa Sukari. At the same time, Kahawa Sukari, Kahawa West, Kikuyu Road, Kilimani, Lavington near Gitanga Road, and Mfangano and many more.

President William Ruto today hosted the Akorino at State House.
Honestly, I might be wrong, but this looks like a move to regain Mt. Kenya through the church.
But what really caught my attention wasn’t even that.
It’s the same pattern we keep seeing that should anger most of us.
He said again that he has created 1 million jobs...
thousands of digital jobs.
And I just sat there thinking,
Where is the data?
Because it’s one thing to say numbers,
It’s another thing to back them up.
We all remember the Taptengelei issue.
At some point, even platforms blocked Kenyans from online jobs.
He said he would intervene, but nothing really changed. In fact, even KK bloggers went silent.
And let’s be honest with ourselves for a second,
Kenyans were already doing online jobs before he became president.
Same with going to Gulf countries, people have been traveling for years.
So when you hear it now framed like it’s a new government achievement, you can’t help but wonder.
I get it, it’s politics, and it’s campaign season.
But as citizens, we also have to be careful with what we accept as truth,
especially when it’s repeated over and over without evidence.
Because in the end,
it’s not just about what is said,
it’s about what can actually be proven.
