After Brehm shot music executive John Atterberry (who later died from his injuries), Johns began yelling and taunting the gunman from above in an attempt to draw his attention away from other potential victims. Johns was visibly shaken but continued recording and distracting Brehm throughout the incident. Brehm continued his rampage until he was fatally shot by police. Chris Johns’ video went viral and highlighted the bravery of an ordinary citizen who stepped up in a terrifying situation.
