Spotted earlier this year in Germany. Bit of a play on the old 'everything looks better with steelies' - is this fairly recent @audi #a4 #b9 #estate #wagon with a set of #audi wheeltrims. Given time of year, this is possibly the owner running their winter wheels/tyres. #steelies

In a week where @jaguar has caused a stir, there's this, taken @supercarshowtime earlier this year. This is registered as a @jaguar #f-pace #svr #edition1988 awd auto. One of 394, and a tribute to the #xjr-9 racing car. Based on the standard SVR, it has a 550PS 5.0L V8.

Here's another from a summer show - this time #supercarshowtime. This @porsche @porsche_gb #911 #993 was registered in summer 1996 and has covered 116k since new. Not sure on the exact model, but appears to be a 3.6L #porscheowners #porsche911 #porsche993 #porscheclub

Catching up with a few spots from a few months ago - this being a @volkswagen @ukvolkswagen #golf #gti #golfgti #25thanniversary #golf25thanniversary at #wheelsupnorth. This PD150 #tdi diesel and has covered 162k since new in September 2002. #golfgti #classiccar #collectorscar

Following the 90s red @lotuscars, here's a 70s red one from #wheelsupnorth. This one being a 1973 Lotus Europa. The Europa was made from '66 to '75, so this is a later car. A quick check shows a 1558cc engine, which perhaps suggests the Lotus/Ford engine. #hethelsfinest #hethel

#fordfriday this week is a spot from our trip to the Netherlands last week - in this case a 1979 @ford @forduk #transit #mk2. This one is registered as a 'Ford Panel Van'. Good to see a 45 year old UK-reg'd van in use and travelling abroad. @VW #grandcalifornia for scale!

This is one from the #supercarshowtime car park - a @volkswagen @ukvolkswagen @VW #scirocco #type2 #mk2. This one was registered in October 1987 so is 37 years and had covered 122k at last MOT. Looks like a set of aftermarket alloys too - Borbets maybe? #borbet #borbetwheels

The Netherlands has #chod too! For #choddytuesday, in this case, a Mk2 @SubaruEurope #legacy #bk #estate from sometime between 1993 and 1997 - not sure exactly when but this one had a trailer attached and it's rear side windows blanked out, so clearly someone's workhorse. #chod

Just back from a family trip to Holland, and in particular #amsterdam. As with most big cities, Amsterdam is busy and there's no need for anything fast to get around the city centre. It's perhaps because of this that tiny cars are popular #opel #stellantis #citroen

Here's a #MGmidget for #mgmonday - this one is a #midget1500 from '75. The 1500 was effectively the Mk4 and the black plastic covered bumpers were introduced to satisfy US regulations. The 1491cc engine was a #standardsc from a #triumphspitfire #triumphspitfire1500. #mgbgt #mgf

I never knew how powerful these were! @ALPINA_GmbH @ALPINAGB #B5 #biturbo #biturbov8 from early 2019 Based on the @BMW @BMWUK_ #g31 #5series #m550i (and registered as a 'BMW Alpina') and with a 4.4L V8 producing 599bhp! Bit of a sleeper really! @sytner_bmw @sytnergroup

Another Japanese car today, a @ToyotaMotorCorp @ToyotaUK @TGR_WRC #yarisgr - this is apparently a 'Circuit' version. Love a hot-hatch though and love a grrrr Yaris too - hence the photo in not ideal light! This is a mid 2021 car and had covered 18k at last test. #gryaris

Took these at #wheelsupnorth a few months back - a @nissan @nissanuk 200SX S14. The S14 version was produced from 93 to 99 and was known as a Silvia in some countries. This car is from 95 and had 34k miles at last test. Appears to be an original UK car too. #japcar #japimport

Took this a while ago - probs because it was in fair condition for a 20+ year old van. This @vauxhall #combo is based on Corsa B and was reg'd in early 98 and clocked up 127k up to it's last MOT this year. Quick search and I suspect this one's been scrapped! #choddytuesday though
