"This decision now stands as binding precedent. It places real legal constraints on future governments and ensures that the Emergencies Act cannot be repurposed as a political convenience. It restores the act to what Parliament intended: a narrow, exceptional tool, not a blunt instrument against dissent. The government spent millions defending the indefensible. It lost completely. And in doing so, it handed Canadians one of the most important civil liberties rulings in a generation. That is worth celebrating.” @cvangeyn nationalpost.com/opinion/christ…

Strange article that cites only Canadian "experts" to evidence Canadian leverage in the #CUSMA / #USMCA renewal negotiations: Barry Appleton, Inu Manak, Don Newman, Colin Robertson & la piece de la resistance, Justin Trudeau's Deputy Chief of Staff, Brian Clow. Feel confident?🤷‍♂️

Joe Rogan is 100% correct: Alberta is a truly amazing place with some incredibly hardworking people! And to my friend @PierrePoilievre's point— Mr. Rogan, consider this your official invitation to come back to Alberta this summer and visit the greatest outdoor show on earth, the Calgary Stampede.

A tale of two Iranians 1. - A 19 yr old national champion wrestler. Executed today for the crime of marching with 30,000 other murdered young people who just wanted freedom. Canada said nothing. - A Shia cleric of that Islamo-fascist regime. Just given Canadian citizenship. Marching in support of the regime at an al quds parade in Toronto in his first week in Canada. If there’s a way for Canada to be on the wrong side of history, this is it. Thx to @AlinejadMasih for keeping everyone informed. Here’s to a free Iran.

Dear Charles, Do you know what actually risks the lives of CAF members? It’s leaving them deployed in a war zone without ANY ability to defend themselves. It’s a Minister who didn’t know members of the CAF had been targeted for 11 days until the incident was leaked to the media. It’s useful idiots like you that are so easily manipulated to blame the leader of the opposition for anything associated with this failed coverup by the @liberal_party gov or the CDS, if you believe the MND.

🇨🇦 Honestly, go sign Bruce Fanjoy's petition for political leaders to get their security clearance. Poilievre is risking endangerment of Canadian Armed Forces personnel, presumably through ignorance, because he can't be briefed without clearance. x.com/i/status/20339…

Defence Minister David McGuinty ‘clarifies’ what he meant about newspaper report on Iranian strike. “No, I didn’t know about it before La Presse reported on it,” McGuinty originally said. ctvnews.ca/politics/artic…

Where is this video? Why didn't McGuinty post to social media? Or is it only friendly media video? "Later Thursday, McGuinty's press team sent The Canadian Press a video of the minister reading out a statement "clarifying" his earlier remarks about the airstrike. “I receive intelligence and security briefings regularly. I am made aware of incidents relating to (Canadian Armed Forces) members and assets around the world. That was the case immediately following the strike, and that continues to be the case," McGuinty said, reading from a lectern at another event. “This morning, I was referring specifically to my awareness of a media report and not to the strike itself, which I was informed about by Canadian officials." @DavidMcGuinty

McGuinty releases a "clarifying statement" to counter the BS in his previous statements "Defence Minister David McGuinty has walked back his remarks about when and how he learned about an Iranian airstrike that may have hit Canadian assets in Kuwait earlier this month. In prepared remarks Thursday — which he described as a “clarifying statement” — McGuinty said he first learned about the airstrike in a briefing with government officials, not by reading about it in a newspaper. Earlier in the day, the minister suggested to reporters at a news conference he did not learn about potential damage to the Canadian camp at a Kuwait airbase on March 1 until the Quebec newspaper La Presse reported on it on March 12."

CBC reporter Diego Pizarro "And in your view, is it helpful that Pierre Poilievre is promoting trade with Canada on Joe Rogan's podcast?" McGunty couldn't hear, Pizarro again "In your view, is it helpful that Pierre Poilievre is promoting trade with Canada on Joe Rogan's podcast?" McGuinty "I'm not sure I see a downside in promoting trade with Canada." CBC must be disappointed he didn't take the bait I'm betting CBC chase down the sh!t talking Marc Miller down for an answer. CBC's hits on Rogan and Poilievre for Carney just keep coming
