Is it weird to say that perhaps some of the appeal of Sumeru was the fact that it was male character-centered? Of course I don’t mean to put down the female chars as they all have their value, but it’s just not something you usually see in gacha, and they have a STORY

Pretty sure event and quest writing teams are different (but idk). The quest writing tends to be far more fleshed out and consistent than the events which makes sense but is probably why events can get repetitive and annoying and very flanderized
