I got my badge for participating. 🤭 Thanks to She Code Africa, I got the confidence I needed to share my work and I also gained new insights. Most of the questions I had regarding UX design and scaling were answered. Now it's officially over.

• Having or setting a clear goal is one thing, putting it into action is key. • Your work doesn’t have to be perfect before you can start sharing.

She Code Africa Mentorship wrap-up. 🙂 (The final week) Key things I learnt as a mentee: • Start small. • Volunteer as often as you can to gain experience; work with others who are at the same level as you to share and grow together.

how to go above beginner/intermediate level in design. It also touched on openness to learning other skills such as low-code development as we level up on our design skills. The screen above is a task we were given—replicate. The goal: To become confident in sharing our work

We had our onboarding session yesterday, and there are four areas of learning. I'm in the UI/UX design track. 🤗 This is a great opportunity to finally close the gap in my mind. 🥹 #uiuxdesign #tech

I got accepted into the @SheCodeAfrica Mentorship Programme. 🥳 This is not a regular bootcamp or training programme; the mentorship runs for 3 weeks with 2 virtual sessions per week.

How to Implement in UX • Limit the time it takes to complete a task to what users expect it’ll take. • Use features such as autofill to save the user time when providing critical information within forms.

What this means in/for UX Focus the majority of effort on the areas that will bring the largest benefits to most users. It enables you to focus your research on the things that matter most and ensure that you protect these things when you come to revising the user experience.

E.g. Skipping instructions page or 'Terms and Conditions' page in a design without reading through first. What this is. 📍If time is spent to first learn how the product or software works, errors will be reduced greatly.

In UX design 👇 • Occam's razor focus is to reduce complexity in a design and make it as simple as possible while still maintaining the complete function of the design. • Eliminate unnecessary elements without affecting the overall function of the design.
