Disgusted at @DBScollege After allowing students to study for 3 years and pay €16,000 in fees, DBS has now told its Social Care students that DBS’s courses have not been deemed eligible for CORU accreditation. Students who graduate will not be CORU registered social care workers

@nanakando @shannonheal @DBScollege The time delay isn’t even the main concern. It just would’ve been common decency to warn students sooner. They’d still have wasted time and money they’d already put into current courses but at least could start again this academic year if they were informed of the problem in May.

@nanakando @shannonheal @DBScollege The significance of the delay is that the CAO is now closed and students can’t apply to get into other courses. If students were informed of this issue back in May they could at least apply to start in first year of other courses. It’s another entire year wasted!
