I’m not defending Bondi per se, but you realize she lost 2/3 of her staff within a month of Trump being sworn in. You don’t just hire experienced prosecutors off the street like hamburger flippers. It takes time to fill those positions with competent lawyers and DOJ supervisors, during which time there is no one to prosecute existing cases, much less new ones. I am just as frustrated as you at not seeing any one brought to justice, but I’m not sure anybody else would have been further along considering the massive loss of employees at DOJ. @shipwreckedcrew has an excellent post about this.
