Hand slides down, rubs across shoulders and then falls away. “. . .Well. Anythin’ else I should know or does that about cover it?”

Huff. Don’t make him look crazy. “Someone was speaking, and it wasn’t the music.”

“So y’ just pinged Laswell ‘Oi I got mind control, wanna play test it’?” Another sip of his tea and his other hand reaches over to squish into curls, patting down neck and shoulders.

Ghost grunts and finally rolls up his mask to go back to sipping at his tea, now that he’s fairly certain there’s no…weird spores or something in it. “Mm. So are y’ Legion or somethin’.” A poor attempt at levity.

He didn’t make any move to pull away on his own, so he couldn’t have been that troubled. “. . .and ‘ow long ‘as it been a thing ‘ere?”

Ghost doesn’t resist being propelled along. When they’re out of the way, he looks down at the hand. Whatever process is involved, it’s apparently not automatic or inherent. “. . .so. Right. So…” He trails of, grasping for anything to say. “. . .’ow long ‘as this been..?”

Turning down the radio. “I swore I heard something.”

“Dunno.” Ghost looks down into his tea and glances back up. “Tryin’ to figure out wot that just was.”

—mask down and standing with it held awkwardly in front of himself. Again he makes eye contact with Price. A general ‘what the fuck’ that he’s not sure will be answered.

Ghost stands there for a minute with his mug hovering half an inch centimeter from his lips as he watches this little maneuver. Frozen. After a beat, his eyes flick over and fix on Price’s face, then Laswell’s, before he focuses back on the recruit. Wot. In the Body Snatchers.
