I grew up in the ghetto. Picked on. Bullied. Beaten a few times. I joined military at 17. Finished my enlistment and used GI Bill to assist w/college tuition. My first school was a nine month trade school (programming in C++ back in the day). That paid me enough to work part time and get through San Diego State University. Today, I live in a neighborhood/small cul de sac where all of my neighbors are attorneys (one a judge) and one very successful small business owner. I'll be retired before 60. I was obsessed with getting as far from that group of ppl as humanly possible. It worked.

Here is my thoughts on where @UNC_Basketball could go and IMO should go now that they have decided on Hubert's removal. Firstly, don't get it twisted. Davis and crew are the very definition of a #Tarheel and I feel terrible that moves have to be made like this and wish him love and luck in whatever he decides next. 1st things first...WHO? Who do I feel should be the next Head Coach of the Heels. Billy Donovan Yes, I am aware he is getting up in age but Roy wasn't much younger when he came on board in 2002-03. It isn't working out at the Bulls and he is a proven College Basketball Coach with Championship resume. Could be the cheaper option also which could help in moving NIL Money around for a better staff and players. "Well Cory he isn't "Family?" Neither was Dean Smith, but it still can have that Family Feel based on the staff he keeps. If I was Donovan or any incoming coach. I would pull the most intense player and probably successful player in ACC and UNC history in @THANS50 as an assistant, specifically for Energy and coaching the Bigs. For the Guards play I would retain @marcuspaige5. One of the most loved players and people of UNC. With proper tutelage both of these former players could mold into something wonderful and take over when Donovan creeps closer to 70 and ready to hand it back to "the family." For Defense I would get Jackie Manual back if it is an option. Leaky Black would be nice and a more recent relevant player but he is still chasing his dream at the pro level. More than likely, none of this happens. I get it. Just spit balling a very possible and positive direction in a very sticky CBB situation for our beloved program.
