Porn has the same dopamine addiction problems as a few other societal evils, and in the same way, causes people to push the boundaries to get the next surge. Most people don’t get to those levels, but chronic users find themselves seeking out the most depraved shit possible. Personally, I don’t think low grade smut is that much of a problem, it’s just the really debauched stuff that needs to be limited (scat, extremely violent bdsm, etc.), but I can’t trust governments to regulate these things without being as retarded as the UK. In regard to the issues society faces with people feeling a lack of purpose, dopamine abuse is both a symptom and a cause of that, in a cyclical kind of way. People who lack meaning in their personal lives seek pleasure to dull the ache. Dopamine abuse causes anhedonia, which stops people feeling pleasure in normal activities, so people don’t feel motivated to do things that are ultimately meaningful. Society certainly has a problem with allowing young people the means to do meaningful things like owning their own homes and starting families, but dopamine addiction worsens the effects of that. It’s a complex issue.

I would love to debate or have a convo on this topic, because I'll be blunt, many on the right don't want to have a real convo or debate on this topic. Because to do that they would need to look at the root of the problems going on in the world. Last time I debated some one on here they crashed out so hard they started crying because they lost followers to looking stupid to me. Then went into chat groups with other CC's bitching about me trying to make sure other CC's will never talk to me because I made them look so fucking stupid.
