Vash being passively suicidal is a super interesting part of his character but also something that needs to be done well and handled with care, you can't just have him find out some depressing news and say "Ok Knives, lets kill ourselves".

My BIGGEST gripe is that Wolfwood literally saved his ass, fought battles for him, and confessed something deep AS HE WAS DYING and there was absolutely NO reciprocation on Vash's part. WOLFWOOD HAD 2 LINES IN THE LAST EPISODE.

Stargaze vash is so pathetic because he literally gets captured always and doesn’t fight for anything. He either stood and watched or had someone else do it for him. He never had his ideals challenged and when he did he just said “ok I’ll kill myself then, c’mon knives let’s die”
