At no point in the last 10 years did Coutts give me a min threshold. More importantly, the offer of a Natwest personal acct only came after I went public last Thursday. No business solution was offered, and they even denied I was a PEP, which is why 9 other banks have said no.

The BBC News story that @Nigel_Farage was ‘debanked’ by Coutts because he had insufficient funds in his account sounds like BS to me. Has he always had over a million pounds in his Coutts account since 1980? Does every Coutts customer have at least £1,000,000 in their account? And what about all the other former Brexit Party MEPs and officials who’ve been ‘debanked’? There’s a clear pattern here and it’s nowt to do with insufficient funds.

Heliodor Mortgages is not authorised to administer mortgages and is committing a criminal offence. Also, probably Whistletree & Rosolite Mortgages corruptionuk.org/?p=624 via @corruptionukorg

The irony about my new campaign is that I had decided not to get too involved in #MortgagePrisoner campaign, despite being one. I was tired of campaigning. But I was shocked at ignorance on display at parl. debate last week so I had to dig in & immediately found illegality.

I have received a response from Heliodor/Topaz, and have replied.

Just spoken to these guys. They confirmed they used to administer mortgages, knew they need authorisation and obtained it. That’s how it should be done.

The point my detractors are missing - yes, you register trading names under your registration at FCA. So Topaz Finance trading as Fish’n’ChipsRUS. If they sell fish & chips fine. If Fish’n’ChipsRUS administer mortgages, they need separate authorisation. As many of them do.

Each person should do as they please, I will not advise anyone. But in my case I’m demanding full repayment from Heliodor of unauthorised payments, with interest, and will make no further payments to the cowboys.

For anyone still awake I’m now 100% sure that *my* mortgage company Heliodor Mortgages are not authorised by the FCA & therefore committing a criminal offence. #MortgagePrisoners
