The guy crossing is wrong on two counts, he didn't see the incoming traffic and he didn't use the bridge. But bike guy would have probably seen him earlier is he wasn't accelerating there. There's lots of things car drivers can do that bikers shouldn't be doing. There's lots of consideration when it comes to navigating turns or committing to angles where there's a bend or potential blind spot that requires you to enter at a speed you can manage. For those of you that'll come to ask for my credentials -no worry. I don leave bike.
