@mewn21 @kevinsekniqi @sobylife Subnets are better in part because they're the only type of chain that doesn't go backwards. Reorgs are bullshit. Especially for games. Imagine minting a grail and getting reorged to a floor. Instant finality matters

@kevinsekniqi I don’t deny there’s flexibility with stand-alone sovereign chains, but the above tweet is specifically about economic efficiency The trade-offs may or may not be worth it depending on the use case, but inflationary rewards for chain security being dilutive can’t be ignored

Vertical scaling is different from horizontal scaling.
Avalanche does both better than anything.
L2s aren't scaling ETH they're just different blockchains that pay rent back to ETH. See what I did there?
