We went from DAO of too many useless votes to fake DOA, with no vote on major economic direction of Jupiter, screwing over DAO stakers

The Planetary Call delivered major updates for the future of $JUP Here is my honest take starting with the bad, ending with the good that can actually drive the price higher The Bad: – Only 200M $JUP will be released in early 2026 out of the 700M This makes one thing obvious: people who bought and staked purely for the airdrop will dump immediately, especially now that the unstaking period has been reduced from 30 days to 7 I expect significant sell pressure from stakers – These updates should have gone to a community vote The team had more than enough time to do that Respect the community more – Stakers should have received the 175M $JUP and users 25M, not the opposite I do not like the direction the team is taking here It feels influenced by other projects and gambling-style platforms – To qualify for the larger allocations now, you basically need to trade memecoins, perps, and prediction markets activities where 90% of people lose money This is the wrong incentive structure The Good: – The product continues improving Mobile V2 is coming, the wallet expansion is strong, and the UX keeps getting better – @jup_lend is performing exceptionally well and is clearly becoming a profitable business Strong execution there, $JLP also received meaningful upgrades – The lower airdrop amounts will filter out farmers and retain real users and supporters I fully support this, inflation becomes more sustainable with this model Overall, better days are coming for Jupiter, this genuinely feels like a fresh start What do you want the team to deliver next?
