@growing_daniel I witnessed a few fights in the Pubs, an old guy throwing up in the middle of the pub while her wife (also old) didn’t give a fuck, also witnessed a few fights before and after the match. Everybody was drunk in the city. 10/10 would repeat that experience.

@growing_daniel I had the opportunity to go to Liverpool in 2019 for LFC vs Arsenal. I didn’t know it was the “international Beatles week” I arrived around 8am and every pub was already open with live bands playing Beatles covers all day long. I had to start drinking at that hour as well.

@paulg Nintendo is the only company that actually cares about having fun. Starting from PS2 and Xbox, games are focused more on having better graphics and sell gimmicks. Apart from Nintendo, you will only get “fun” games from indie companies or individuals.

9 yo is having lots of fun playing Nintendo 64 games. Clearly fun doesn't scale linearly with computing power. It doesn't scale linearly with money either. Maybe in general the limit of fun grows as the log of resources.

People in tech forget what work is like in most other places. Not only is receiving equity in a company not common, neither is free equipment, large amounts of time off, 💯 healthcare, free meals, etc.. Tech isn’t the only place where this is true, but we have it so, so good.

@remusgarcia PCI DSS es un estándar de seguridad para tecnologías que procesan pagos a través de tarjetas de débito o crédito, claramente el scope de una aplicación bancaria es mucho mayor. De nada sirve una auditoria cuando se filtró todo el código fuente con las respectivas credenciales.

@elyak123 Que sea Front End no significa que no implique vulnerabilidad. El repositorio tenía certificados de seguridad y credenciales para acceder a las APIs bancarias. Qué bueno que tú “no te preocuparías tanto”.
