O fato é que revendo The Acolyte depois de quase 2 anos ficou claro que a série serve a melhor batalha de sabre de luz já feita em live action. Merecia muito uma 2ª temporada. #RenewTheAcolyte

@ChrisCushman2 Trek never really had a proper hiatus as far as I'm concerned. It's been virtually running nonstop since 1979. With something always in production. The only real hiatus since then was 2 years The 2009 film was announced less than two years after Enterprise ended.

Negative review bombing of Academy likely to end the possibility of shows like Legacy as well put Trek into 10-15 years of hiatus… Honestly with much of the negative rhetoric coming out before the airing of the first episode based on the trailer and stills…

😳 😱 I am so on the same page with you @StephenM! The fact that they have not cure Hyperopia by the 32rd Century is an abysmal oversight on the writers!😤 Also @paramountplus needs to up the budget because I’m sure that a well oiled organization like Starfleet in the distant future could afford more than one pair of glasses for at least this hyperopic bridge crew.🤷🏼 Do they pass the glasses 👓 around while piloting the ship‽ 🙄 Shame on the line producers! 🤔That is what you meant, right‽ 😉👍🏻 I am ready to assume command of the series! Call me! 🤙🏻🙂!
Stephen Miller@StephenM

Tragic. But it’s not too late for @paramountplus to save the franchise. Step 1: Reconcile with @WilliamShatner and give him total creative control.

Yes I can help. I am uniquely qualified because I’m white, an American, and a marketing/branding expert who is based in the southeast, and has worked in the entertainment and restaurant industry for decades. My job is to identify trends in American psychology, buying habits, and demographic shifts so companies can change strategy. I’ve been the brains behind many Fortune 500/100/50 corporate strategies. This is about a feeling of loss in America, particularly among white male Americans. The demographics show that white Americans are going to become the minority sometime in the mid 2040s. White male Americans have historically dominated powerful positions in government, business and science but have been seeing women and minorities come into their spaces more and more, which they see as an existential threat. The recent political movements in America are to try to turn back the clock to when white people were the vast majority, and men ruled the working world. Interestingly, some other male dominated societies and leaders around the world also want to encourage America to adopt this stance. This brand, Cracker Barrel, is HQ in TN and has locations densely across the SE particularly near highways. Their historical customer has been white rural travelers, as it started originally as a cafe gas station gift shop concept. The restaurant is also relatively inexpensive- this catering to a lower income demographic. Walking into the restaurants are like walking back in time, as the physical locations feel like an old country back woods lodge filled with antiques. The brand has a strongly differentiated rural country feel, and a very simple menu, that has been unchanged since the 1960s. The challenge the brand is facing a declining core population over time. The very population they serve. A young new female CEO came in and is trying to figure out the strategy long term, and they recently replaced their Nashville based ad agency with one not as familiar with the brand to determine the strategy. They underestimated the response, and likely should have created a longer term brand shift strategy rather than an “all at once” relaunch, given the climate in America and this brand’s unique positioning in it. Two more aspects fueling it. The ruling political movement in America today excites the base through a strategy called “crisis response,” they always need a crisis to galvanize the base. This fits the bill. Another one is competition. Other struggling rural restaurant brands, like Steak and Shake @SteaknShake lead by a Tehran Iran CEO, have been relentless in fueling this fire because of their need to drive business to their stores, and pointing these brand changes out is one way to get attention and sales. They support the political movement as well. In summary, there is a combination of factors driving the attention and controversy of this iconic American brand @CrackerBarrel Hope that helps 💎✨

The picture is most likely from a 1963 protest in Montgomery, Alabama, where white teenagers and others gathered to oppose school integration, as described in the National Geographic article. This event aligns with the historical use of the Confederate flag as a symbol of resistance to racial equality during that era, and the visual elements (clothing, car, and urban setting) support this timeframe. The image has been repurposed in the 2025 X post to comment on ongoing cultural and political battles, as suggested by the caption "fighting for the soul of a nation. 1963...1963

@USA0056 @mmpadellan @Oppie4547 I have done it. But you won't be spending frivolously, that is for sure. But $450 a week for food and utilities is plenty..all depends on a person's lifestyle.

For the rest of my life, I will never understand how a country full of people busting their asses, working paycheck to paycheck, allow the fucking richest guy on Earth to call them "parasites" while calling the Social Security we contributed to our entire lives "a Ponzi scheme." It will NEVER make sense.

@WilliamShatner Out of curiosity, if the podcaster was someone you knew, liked and trusted, would you ever consider it, or is it pretty much a hard no? While it would be interesting, I can certainly understand why you'd not want to.

What’s not to understand? I do press to promote projects or appearances taking time out of my busy schedule to do so. I can get my information across in just a few minutes and answer a question or two beyond that. Many podcasters are not only unprofessional but are only looking for sensationalistic content to take out of context for ears and eyeballs. The citizen journalist that those in power talk about as the future only serve to fill timelines up with conjecture and wild speculation drowning out real information in the race to get more viewers. All that does is cause confusion & chaos. I don’t have the time to sit there for 30 mins, an hour, some even ask for 3 hours! What the heck am I suppose to babble on about for that long? 🤷🏼 I don’t dwell in the past nor do I want to recant it. I don’t have the luxury of that free time to do so. It’s that simple. I have better things to do with my precious free time. My choice.

When I first laid my young eyes on the #IntrepidClass in '94, I was in awe of the radical new design: no neck, flat warp pylons that changed angle for warp. It looked sleek, agile, and practical — especially compared to the D. What were your 1st impressions of the Intrepid?

Let's not BS ourselves. After every Republican president, a Democrat president has to come in and clean up their mess. Bill Clinton, Barack Obama, and Joe Biden all came in and cleaned up after high debt and deficit creating Republican presidents. Let's not pretend.
