📢 CALL TO ALL #MultiversX PROJECTS Let's suppose I build a #MultiversX ESDT branding system, similar to what we see on other chains, which is 100% free, decentralized, and permissionless A system where any token holder would be able to brand their token directly on-chain Let's also suppose I will provide you with a TypeScript SDK so any dApp can integrate it in a few lines of code The current centralized ESDT branding system deters small builder to come on our ecosystem, we *need* to change this I am capable of doing such a decentralized system, but before I start working on such a project, I want to know if there are any projects out there interested in using it As a project, especially those displaying a large number of tokens such as DEXes, NFT marketplaces, lending protocols, etc., are you willing to use a decentralized branding system? Let me know! If many projects express interest, I will proceed with it

But if used as a optional, free willing feature, it can help secure the ecosystem, increase transparency and prevent scams. That is all. It can be decentralised with KYC, nothing prevents that. It is optional.

There is no reason to require a KYC The whole point of the decentralized branding I want to build is to be permissionless. Anyone, even scammers, should be able to brand their token The proper solution is, afterwards, to build on top of that a community list of trusted tokens and known scams, which dApps can choose to use (or not!) This list should *not* interfere in any way on the branding system, it will only be informative

our one-KYC-to-rule-them-all solution is an incredibly complex one, that has been approved by the Central Bank as it involves the xPortal Debit Cards as well. changing this with another solution would be a monumental task right now and it would still not be feasible because of regulations. we’ve discussed with the Multiconomy team in the past and we’re aware of their amazing product and we would use them should we find it fit for any platform in the ecosystem.
