Focusing on the first E in our THEMES+ agenda, which is Education and Technology, the Tolu Schools Complex in Ajegunle sits on nearly 12 hectares and serves about 20,000 students across 36 schools, both primary and secondary.
Before the upgrade, many of the buildings were in poor condition. Today, the entire complex has been rebuilt and expanded, marking its most significant transformation since it was established over 40 years ago.
New classroom blocks have been added to reduce overcrowding. The facilities now include a football pitch, sports courts, a health centre, a fire station, and essential services like solar power and improved water systems.
There is also a clear focus on inclusion. Dedicated buildings for students with disabilities have been introduced, along with lifts to make movement easier within the complex. A vocational centre is now in place, offering training in practical skills such as tailoring, plumbing, and masonry.
With an ICT hub and a central laboratory, students are better positioned to engage with science and technology in a more hands-on way.
Overall, the project creates a more supportive and functional learning environment for a densely populated community.

“The best playbook for coalition was the Buhari of blessed memory and Bola Tinubu effort, and that's what is keeping the APC. So when I look at the things that ADC are doing, calling it a coalition, I marvel—because all I see is a group of men who are tested and mostly failed come together.”

Oyetola was Chief of Staff and he’s partly responsible for bankrupting the state, it doesn’t mean taking more loans to build an airport was a sensible decision considering where they were financially.

Who was Chief of Staff in the administration that bankrupted Osun?

I understand your angle but please let the parent enjoy their money too

It’s for the kids. Please Nigerians. Let’s let the kids enjoy this thing. Stop putting unnecessary pressure on struggling parents. Some push so hard to give their children quality education, don’t ever make them feel less

I met with the Heads of Nursery and Primary Schools across Agege to review progress and strengthen our shared commitment to quality education.
So far, we have renovated 17 schools, established 5 school libraries, and delivered essential learning tools, including 1,800 twin desks, 400 ECC furniture, 72 teacher furniture, and 92 marker boards. We are also in the process of procuring 75 computers to expand digital learning.
Beyond infrastructure, we are investing in people and safety, with the recruitment of 50 primary school teachers and school support staff, deployment of security personnel, and ongoing plans to install CCTV systems in schools. We’ve also improved learning environments with 2 seven-aside pitches and connected 5 school compounds to the power grid.
Our discussions focused on improving the quality of education, increasing school maintenance support, expanding facilities, and ensuring inclusive learning for special needs students alongside skill acquisition opportunities.
Education remains a top priority, because the future of Agege is sitting in our classrooms today.

Incumbent President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, bows in respect as he greets former President Olusegun Obasanjo, GCFR, moments after landing at the Gateway International Airport, Iperu, for the commissioning.
This, despite a fierce political rivalry (political career ending tbh) between both men that has spanned over two decades.
This is the essence of Yoruba culture. Ours is a deep, disciplined tradition of mutual respect, even in the face of conflict. Our forebears captured it perfectly: “Bí a bá ń jà, bí ti ká kú kọ́.” We may disagree, we may contend, we may hold grudges but we do not descend into feral destruction and irreparable chaos to settle scores. We tried that centuries ago and realized it doesn’t solve anything.
People who don’t understand this culture of respect often call it cowardice or being 2-faced. But we can’t blame them.
This level of composure in the midst of tension and chaos is not weakness. It’s calculated restraint learned over decades/centuries of behavioral refinement.
Apparently, this is too sophisticated for our haters to understand. They are not equipped enough to get it.
