गो ब पंत कृषि एवं प्रौद्योगिक विश्वविद्यालय, पंतनगर के माननीय कुलपति प्रोफेसर शिवेंद्र कुमार कश्यप के नेतृत्व में विश्वविद्यालय में अध्ययनरत अंतिम वर्ष के विद्यार्थियों के लिए ' ज्ञान दीक्षा-2026' का आयोजन किया गया। इस अवसर पर मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में माननीय सांसद (राज्य सभा), ओजस्वी वक्ता एवं प्रख्यात चिंतक तथा पंतनगर विश्वविद्यालय के पूर्व छात्र डॉ सुधांशु त्रिवेदी द्वारा विश्वविद्यालय के विद्यार्थियों को दीक्षा दी गई। उन्होंने विद्यार्थियों को समाज एवं देश हित में मानवीय मूल्यों के साथ जीवन में आगे बढ़ने का सुझाव दिया। पंतनगर विश्वविद्यालय को व्यतित्व निर्माण, नेतृत्व क्षमता और जीवन मूल्यों को विकसित करने वाला एक सशक्त संस्थान बताया। देश के स्वर्णिम इतिहास पर प्रकाश डालते हुए वर्ष 2047 तक देश को विकसित राष्ट्र बनाने के लिए विद्यार्थियों से उत्कृष योगदान का आह्वान किया। प्रोफेसर कश्यप ने कहा कि 'ज्ञान दीक्षा' जैसी एक नई पहल विद्यार्थियों में नवीन सोच, प्रेरणा और जीवन के प्रति सकारात्मक दृष्टिकोण प्रदान करेगी।

Hon'ble Vice-chancellor of GBPUAT, Pantnagar Dr SK Kashyap inaugurated the two days 'Vivridhi' Exhibition organised by the College of Community Science. Students showcased the unique blend of creativity and media skills. The chief guest appreciated the efforts of the students and stated that such efforts facilitate enhancing the students' technical knowledge, creativity, communication abilities and professional skills. The exhibition was organised in the Student Ready Program under the theme 'Sankalp se Sidhi: Viksit Bharat 2047".

Hon'ble Vice-chancellor of GBPUAT, Pantnagar Dr SK Kashyap, the Chief Guest, graced the validictory function of one month training program organised by Uttarakhand Council of Biotechnology (UCB), Pantnagar. The program was presided over by Sri Dalichand ji, RSS Prant Pramukh and Hon'ble VC of Uttarakhand Open University Dr NC Lohani was the guest of honour. The chief guest inaugurated the new office of UCB and planted the sapling of a tree. He appreciated the efforts UCB for the funding of research projects and training of youth on tissue culture and biotech tools and techniques. Students from across the country participated in the training program. The program was organised by Dr Sanjay Kumar Sharma, Director, UCB, Pantnagar.

All India Coordinated Research Project on Pulses of GB Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar confirmed with Best Centre award for Kharif Pulses in the Annual Group Meet of Pulses organised during May 5-7, 2026 under the aegis of Indian Council of Agricultural Research at University of Agriculture Sciences, GKVK, Bangaluru. Director General, ICAR Dr M.L. Jat honoured the pulse group in the presence of DDG Crop Sciences Dr. D.K. Yadav and other officers. Dr S.K. Verma, Local Program Coordinator, Pulse crops, and Dr KPS Kushwaha, Dr Ruchira Tiwari, Dr JP Purwar and Dr Vinita Rathore received the honour. Hon'ble Vice-chancellor of the University Prof S.K. Kashyap congratulated the pulse scientists for bringing this glory to the University.

गो.ब. पंत कृषि एवं प्रौद्योगिकी विश्वविद्यालय, पंतनगर के 8 छात्र एवं 2 प्राध्यापक हाल ही में रूस के सेंट पीटर्सबर्ग एवं मॉस्को के शैक्षणिक भ्रमण से वापस आकर भ्रमण की उपलब्धियों को विश्वविद्यालय के माननीय कुलपति प्रोफेसर शिवेंद्र कुमार कश्यप से साझा किया। यह शैक्षणिक यात्रा पंतनगर विश्वविद्यालय एवं सेंट पीटर्सबर्ग वेटेरीनेटी यूनिवर्सिटी, रशिया के बीच हुए समझौते के कारण सम्पन्न हुई। इस यात्रा के दौरान प्रतिनिधिमंडल ने रशिया की विभिन्न प्रतिष्ठित प्रयोगशालाओं का दौरा किया, जहां उन्होंने आधुनिक तकनीकों, अनुसंधान सुविधाओं एवं उन्नत वैज्ञानिक अवसंरचनाओं का प्रत्यक्ष अवलोकन किया। विशेष रूप से, छात्रों ने इन-विट्रो फर्टिलाइजेशन (IVF) तकनीक के बारे में भी विस्तृत जानकारी एवं व्यावहारिक समझ प्राप्त की, जो पशु प्रजनन विज्ञान के क्षेत्र में अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण है। कुलपति ने इस पहल को अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण बताते हुए अंतर्राष्ट्रीय सहयोग को और सुदृढ़ करने पर बल दिया।

Twenty students of GBPUAT, Pantnagar after visiting France for a month under the DEFIAA program met Hon'ble Vice-chancellor Prof SK Kashyap and shared their experiences. Hon'ble Vice-chancellor while congratulating the students said that exposure visits of the students and faculty to prestigious academic institutions not only boost their morale but also enhances their capabilities for innovation and competitiveness.

Hon'ble Vice-chancellor of GBPUAT Pantnagar Prof SK Kashyap addressed the UG boys students of the University in Gandhi Hall auditorium. While addressing the students, he said that Pantnagar is the 'Land of Opportunities'. He emphasized that Pantnagar is not just an educational institution but a platform for overall personality development, skill enhancement and broadening perspectives. He encouraged the students to make the best of their four years. He said that along with academics, extracurricular activities are essential for the all round personality development.

Hon'ble Vice-chancellor of GBPUAT, Pantnagar Prof. Shivendra Kumar Kashyap addressed the girl students of the University in Gandhi Hall auditorium. While addressing the students, he said that discipline is very much important in all walks of life, which comes from the brought up in family, and the role of parents is supreme. He said that student life is the most precious period and along with study students should participate in extracurricular activities and enjoy hostel life. Enormous potential exists in Pantnagar University for an allround personality development. The advisory system is unique to Pantnagar University and students should keep on visiting their advisors. He said that utmost attention will be given to facilitate the students with needed facilities in the hostel.

Dr S.K. Kashyap, Professor, Agriculture Communication and Former, Dean College of Agriculture after joining as Hon'ble Vice-chancellor of GBPUAT Pantnagar on 27th April 2026 addressed the faculty and staff of the University in Gandhi Hall auditorium. He invited the attention of all present in the hall to maintain the legacy and work culture of Pantnagar University to keep it different from other universities. He said that we have inherited capabilities to excel and we will touch newer heights in days to come. In the Land Grant Pattern, teaching, research, extension are integral and with this we have to serve the society and keep our flag high at the State, National, and International levels. Prior to his address in Gandhi Hall, he held a meeting with the University Management Committee in which he invited the attention of all deans and directors to give their best in the interest of the University. He also visited the department of agriculture communication, where he was honoured by the faculty and students of his department.

Under the MoU signed between St. Petersburg University of Veterinary and Medicine, St. Petersburg, Russia and GBPUAT Pantnagar, a delegation of 8 students of final year of B.V.Sc.& A.H. and 2 senior faculty members of the College of Veterinary & Animal Sciences of GBPUAT completed two weeks academic visit to St. Petersburg. The MoU signed in the leadership of Hon'ble Vice-chancellor of GBPUAT Prof. Manmohan Singh Chauhan has been very fruitful as it was 3rd delegation to visit St. Petersburg. Two delegations from St. Petersburg comprising students and faculty have also visited GBPUAT. These visits are facilitating both the institutions on innovative technologies in veterinary sciences symbiotically.

The 27th Atheletic Meet of Pantnagar Staff Sports 2025-26 was inaugurated at GBPUAT Pantnagar by the Hon'ble Vice-chancellor, Prof. Manmohan Singh Chauhan by hoisting the flag at the Stevenson Stadium of the University. Different sports activities will take place during the three day Meet. Male and female staff are participating with full enthusiasm. The Chief Guest in his address reiterated that 'health is wealth' and suggested to participate in sports activities in a regular manner. He said that the organization of such Meet promotes team spirit. Hon'ble VC honoured the staff who brought laurels to the University by bringing medals in the national level staff sports held at Jabalpur, M.P.

गो ब पंत कृषि एवं प्रौद्योगिक विश्वविद्यालय, पंतनगर का आज उत्तराखंड के माननीय मुख्य सचिव श्री आनंद वर्धन द्वारा भ्रमण किया गया। इस अवसर पर विश्वविद्यालय के माननीय कुलपति प्रोफेसर मनमोहन सिंह चौहान द्वारा माननीय मुख्य सचिव का तराई भवन में स्वागत किया गया। कुलपति जी द्वारा विश्वविद्यालय की शोध, प्रसार एवं शैक्षणिक गतिविधियों से मुख्य सचिव जी को अवगत कराया गया। मुख्य सचिव द्वारा विश्वविद्यालय की प्रगति पर प्रशंसा व्यक्त की गई। इस अवसर पर कुमाऊं मंडल के कमिश्नर श्री दीपक रावत एवं उधम सिंह नगर के जिलाधिकारी श्री नितिन सिंह भदौरिया का भी कुलपति जी द्वारा स्वागत किया गया।

58th Atheletic Meet organised by GBPUAT Pantnagar during April 9 to 11, 2026 was culminated with a happy note. Hon'ble Vice-chancellor Prof Manmohan Singh Chauhan honoured the winners with medals and certificates. Inmates from 23 hostels of the University participated in the Athletic Meet. 193 male players participated from 18 teams and 139 female players participated from 13 teams in different competitions. Hon'ble Vice-chancellor lauded the students for their active participation with team spirit. Along with games and sports, the students also presented the Yoga.

Hon'ble Governor of Uttarakhand Lt Gen Gurmit Singh inaugurated a Student Market at University Centre of GBPUAT, Pantnagar in the presence of Hon'ble Agri Minister Sri Ganesh Joshi, Esteemed VC of the University, Prof. Manmohan Singh Chauhan and other dignitaries. In his address, the chief guest stated that such student markets will encourage the spirit of entrepreneurship among students and guide them towards self-reliance. He appreciated the quality and innovation of the products developed by the university. On this occasion, Prof. Manmohan Singh Chauhan said that the university is continuously striving to connect students with practical education. He added that the Student Market will promote the display and marketing of products, thereby creating opportunities for self-employment. An exhibition showcasing various value-added products prepared by the students was also displayed. The initiative was described as an important step towards skill development, innovation, and self-reliance.

गो ब पंत कृषि एवं प्रौद्योगिक विश्वविद्यालय पंतनगर के 37 वें दीक्षांत समारोह का आयोजन उत्तराखंड के माननीय राज्यपाल एवं विश्वविद्यालय के कुलाधिपति लेफ्टीनेंट जनरल गुरमीत सिंह जी की गरिमामय उपस्थिति में संपन्न हुआ। माननीय कुलाधिपति ने 1395 विद्यार्थियों को उपाधि प्रदान करने की सहर्ष स्वीकृति दी तथा शैक्षणिक विशिष्टता प्राप्त करने वाले 36 विद्यार्थियों को स्वर्ण, रजत एवं कांस्य पदक से सम्मानित किया। माननीय राज्यपाल द्वारा अपने संबोधन में कृषि के क्षेत्र में पंतनगर विश्वविद्यालय के विशिष्ट योगदान को चिन्हित करते हुए उपाधि प्राप्त कर रहे विद्यार्थियों से विश्वविद्यालय की लीगेसी को बनाए रखने तथा भारत देश को 2047 तक विकसित राष्ट्र बनाने के लिए योगदान का आह्वान किया। दीक्षांत समारोह का सफल आयोजन विश्वविद्यालय के माननीय कुलपति प्रोफेसर मनमोहन सिंह चौहान के नेतृत्व में हुआ। इस अवसार पर माननीय संसद सदस्य श्री अजय भट्ट और राज्य के कृषि मंत्री श्री गणेश जोशी और उत्तराखंड के 5 अन्य विश्वविद्यालयों के माननीय कुलपति और पद्मश्री डॉ माधुरी बर्थवाल ने समारोह की शोभा बढ़ाई। इस अवसर पर विश्वविद्यालय के माननीय कुलपति द्वारा विभिन्न विषयों में PhD तथा Masters छात्रों को उपाधि प्रदान की गई।

गो ब पंत कृषि एवं प्रौद्योगिक विश्वविद्यालय, पंतनगर के IPR बौद्धिक संपदा अधिकार विभाग द्वारा विभिन्न शैक्षणिक संस्थानों के संकाय सदस्यों और विद्यार्थियों को बौद्धिक संपदा अधिकार (IPR) के विषय में गहन जागरूकता के लिए एक दो दिवसीय राष्ट्रीय कार्यशाला का वर्चुअल मोड में आयोजन किया गया। कार्यशाला का शुभारंभ विश्वविद्यालय के माननीय कुलपति प्रोफेसर मनमोहन सिंह चौहान द्वारा किया गया। कुलपति जी ने अपने उद्बोधन में IPR के विषय में सभी को जानकारी होने को अनिवार्य बताया और कहा कि IPR जहां एक और बौद्धिक अधिकारों को संरक्षण प्रदान करता है वहीं नवाचार के लिए प्रेरित करता है। पिछले एक दशक में IPR के प्रति लोगों की जागरूकता बढ़ी है और आगे भी निरंतर प्रयास की आवश्यकता है। इस अवसार पर भारतीय कृषि अनुसंधान संस्थान, नई दिल्ली, UCOST, देहरादून और पंतनगर वि. वि. के वैज्ञानिकों ने IPR के विभिन्न पहलुओं पर प्रकाश डाला। देश के लगभग 50 शैक्षणिक संस्थानों से कुल 304 संकाय सदस्यों और विद्यार्थियों ने कार्यशाला में प्रतिभाग किया। कार्यशाला UCOST के वित्तीय सहयोग से आयोजित की गई।

गो ब पंत कृषि एवं प्रौद्योगिक विश्वविद्यालय पंतनगर के माननीय कुलपति प्रोफेसर मनमोहन सिंह चौहान के नेतृत्व में विश्वविद्यालय के प्रसार शिक्षा निदेशालय तथा राष्ट्रीय जैविक खेती एवं प्राकृतिक खेती केंद्र, कृषि एवं कृषक कल्याण मंत्रालय, भारत सरकार, गाजियाबाद के संयुक तत्वावधान में एक दिवसीय क्षेत्रीय बृहद प्राकृतिक खेती परामर्श सह कार्यशाला का आयोजन किया गया। कार्यशाला में उत्तराखंड के विभिन्न क्षेत्रों से लगभग 800 कृषकों ने प्रतिभाग किया। कार्यशाला का उद्देश्य कृषकों को प्राकृतिक खेती के बारे मे जागरूक करना था। इस अवसर पर वि वि के कृषि विज्ञान केंद्रों तथा प्राकृतिक खेती केंद्र द्वारा प्रदर्शनी भी लगाई गई तथा प्रगतिशील कृषकों को सम्मानित भी किया गया।

An MoU was signed between GBPUAT, Pantnagar and Ultra Tech Cement in the presence of Hon'ble Vice-chancellor of the University Prof Manmohan Singh Chauhan. While addressing the gathering, Hon'ble Vice-chancellor opined that this MoU will strengthen the bond between GBPUAT, a prestigious academic institution and the Ultra Tech Cement, a renowned industry in the construction sector. This MoU will not only enhance chances of job opportunity for the engineering graduates but also help in increasing the practicability of the research in the area of civil construction.

Hon'ble Vice-chancellor of GBPUAT, Pantnagar Prof. Manmohan Singh Chauhan inaugurated the Centre of Excellence for the Sustainable Construction Materials at the Civil Engineering Division of the University. This centre has been established with the funding support of Ultra Tech Cement. This center is an important step toward effectively aligning academic research with industrial needs. The center aims to promote sustainable and environment friendly technologies in the construction sector and develop innovative solutions to improve energy efficiency and minimize carbon emissions.

गो ब पंत कृषि एवं प्रौद्योगिक विश्वविद्यालय पंतनगर में उत्तराखंड के सेतू आयोग के माननीय उपाध्यक्ष श्री राजशेखर जोशी एवं विश्वविद्यालय के माननीय कुलपति प्रोफेसर मनमोहन सिंह चौहान के बीच एक महत्वपूर्ण बैठक हुई। बैठक का उद्देश्य उत्तराखंड के पहाड़ी क्षेत्रों से पलायन रोकने और अन्य चिन्हित समस्याओं के समाधान हेतु विश्वविद्यालय की भागीदारी के साथ कारगर रणनीति बनाकर नए स्टार्स अप के माध्यम से युवाओं के लिए रोजगार का सृजन करने के लिए गहन विचार विमर्श हुआ। कुलपति जी द्वारा मशरूम, शहद, मत्स्य पालन और बकरी पालन में विश्वविद्यालय के पास उपलब्ध विशेषज्ञ क्षमता के बारे में अवगत कराया गया जो कि नए स्टार्स अप के लिए कारगर सिद्ध हो सकते हैं। उपाध्यक्ष जी द्वारा विश्वविद्यालय के रुझान और उपलब्ध इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर की सराहना की गई। इस अवसर पर सोशल अल्फा और कृषि विभाग, उत्तराखंड के प्रतिनिधि भी मौजूद थे तथा बिल गेट फाउंडेशन के प्रतिनिधि वर्चुअल मोड में जुडे थे।
