@VenZenix @kthsdlr1 @SillyPutty78 That's awful. I'm so sorry. I, at one point, started to doubt myself because of these doctors. But my therapist disagreed. She knew it wasn't anxiety or depression. If I hadn't done the work and investigated it myself I'd still be undiagnosed. Or dead.

@debage01 @kthsdlr1 @SillyPutty78 This hapoened to me. I had a GP who messed up my head so bad I was scared to go to doctors. Turns out I had a tumor on my adrenal causing Conn's syndrome which damaged my kidneys. I also have autoimmune disease that wasn't diagnosed until damage was done to my joints and liver.

@DigitalKitten5 @SillyPutty78 This is so true. It really shines a light on who you thought was someone you could trust. Chronic illness narrows your world in so many unexpected and unfair ways.

I spend a small fortune to see the doctor I see for this and I'm still miserable. MCAS is hell.

I find it so upsetting reading doctors on here insult and belittle people with MCAS. I am going through absolute hell with mine right now. You absolute pricks do nothing to help. I fucking despise you.

Imagine a doctor refusing to diagnose you with a condition for which you have the symptoms, because the doctor believes the condition is rare, and therefore there's an imaginary quota on how many people are allowed be diagnosed with that, and you're not one of those people.

This is a major issue . These conditions are not over diagnosed , in fact the medical gaslighting that patients have to endure is unreal. Under diagnosis is an issue. No medical pathway in the Uk. These conditions wreck lives, as do opinions like these. The gaslighting is real

@awgaffney Underlying cause of unexplained symptoms captured as "EDS/MCAS/POTS/chronic lyme": Developmental trauma, excessive stress, overstimulation. Based on my experience.

I remember going in for my appointment thinking I was going to get help and answers. By about the fifth doctor you realize that's delusional.

@amiautoimmunex The same thing happens to me. The only thing that's made a difference is LDN, but it increased symptoms at first and it was a struggle getting through that. I think it's all individual and there's not one fix for everyone. Especially if we're not responding to approved treatments

Is there hope if all my body does is reject MCAS Meds?! Like they just activate my symptoms x10000 and put me in a really bad crash no matter what dose I try. I’m so so scared.
