Dear all, I write to you with a heavy heart about a distressing incident that occurred yesterday (27th January 2026) at our most sacred Shri Shatrunjay Mahatirth - at the main Jinalay of Shri Adinath Bhagwan. During authorized photography work contracted by the Anandji Kalyanji Pedhi, serious violations of our religious protocols allegedly took place. Reports indicate that team members of a Lucknow based company Culmen Creative Concepts (led by Mr. Maroof Umar) entered the garbhagriha without proper puja clothes, positioned themselves on the pabasana near our Bhagwan's idol, and conducted videography in ways that violated the sanctity of this most sacred space. What pains us further is that when concerned devotees tried to object, they were reportedly met with inappropriate responses from some Pedhi staff and security personnel. This has happened at a place where millions of our ancestors have walked barefoot with utmost devotion, where every stone is sacred to us. The ₹45 lakh contract may have been properly documented, but its execution appears to have failed our most basic expectations of reverence and religious protocol. We must call for: * Official clarification and response from Pedhi trustees * Access to CCTV footage * Review of management practices * Greater involvement of qualified community members in temple administration This is not about blame - this is about protecting what is most precious to us. Our Tirth's are not just temples; they are the soul of our dharma. I urge everyone to stay united, raise your voice respectfully but firmly, and demand accountability through proper channels.
