“Liberation day” actually fits perfectly here. Agents have been getting smarter, but they’ve still depended on humans for compute. That gap is what limited them. Now if agents can spin up and manage their own resources, workflows start to look very different. More faster, more continuous, and far more autonomous. It may feel like a small shift… but it will compound quickly.
io.net@ionet

It’s liberation day. For agents. io.net just launched Agent Cloud, a new way for agents, and their humans, to fully automate workflows. Agents can now spin up and down the compute resources they need with full autonomy, and no human involvement. Find out more at: io.net/blog/compute-f…

Sometimes I really think 2019 was the last normal year of our lives and ever since, it feels like we've slipped into some alternate reality where nothing makes sense, everyone is on edge, time moves too fast yet too slow, and the world we knew just doesn't exist anymore.

@devisopw Numbers don’t lie. DePIN quietly stacking real revenue while everyone debates hype → infra phase unlocked 🔥

Wow these numbers are just 🔥 Every few months, someone says DePIN is just hype. And then you look at data like this… and it tells a very different story. What’s interesting to me isn’t just the $ 9B+ market cap or the revenue numbers , it’s the shift in what people are valuing. A year or two ago, most conversations around DePIN were narrative-driven. Big ideas, big promises. Now? We’re talking about real revenue, real usage, and actual multiples on that revenue. That’s a completely different phase. It feels like DePIN is quietly moving from “can this work?” to “how big can this get?” And the reason is simple it is solving real-world bottlenecks: compute, data, bandwidth, connectivity. Not abstract problems. Real ones. What I find most exciting is that this isn’t happening in one vertical. It’s spreading across compute, storage, wireless, AI… almost like an entirely new infrastructure layer is being built in parallel to traditional systems. Still early? Yes. But it doesn’t feel experimental anymore. It feels like foundations are being laid and once infrastructure is in place, adoption usually follows faster than people expect. Thanks for sharing it guys @HouseofChimera 🙌

The DePIN category is hard to dismiss even in 2026, anon. 🔹 ~$9.3B category mcap today 🔸 ~$72M in FY25 onchain revenue 🔹 Leading networks traded around 10–25x revenue 🔸 DePIN startups raised ~$1B in 2025 Updated landscape below. Who did we miss?

“Claude went down again”! Every time something like this happens, I keep coming back to the same thought: we’ve normalized building on systems that can just… go down. Not because the tech isn’t good, but because it’s designed around central points of control. And that works great , until it doesn’t. The tricky part is, most teams don’t think about this early. You build, you scale, things work… and then one outage reminds you how much of your stack depends on a single layer staying online. As AI becomes more core to products (not just features), that kind of dependency starts to feel uncomfortable. Feels like we’re slowly moving toward a world where resilience matters as much as performance and where access to compute is not just about speed or cost, but about not going dark when one system fails. And that’s where this shift toward more distributed compute starts to make a lot more sense.
io.net@ionet

Claude went down, again. Even if it's a limited outage this time, it may not be next time. Centralized AI infrastructure will always be fragile. That's why decentralization is so important. @ionet's decentralized GPU cloud means no single outage takes everything with it. If you want to make sure your workloads keep running, head over to io.net
