With just five seats, @RahulGandhi has added yet another Southern state to the list of states ruled by the Congress/I.N.D.I.A alone or in alliance. Keralam, Telangana, Himachal, Jharkhand, J&K Karnataka and now Tamilnadu . Congress can say: who says we are shrinking? We are bloating!

@Iyervval He put DMK down and under hit feet from 2021 to 2024 which created the vacuum resulting in 18%, this population shifted lock stock and barrel to TVK as this was cultivated against both ADMK/DMK.Both knew it will be suicidal for them if he wins and hence colluded to defeat him.

Remember who created the “vaccum” in Tamil Nadu? It was Annamalai. His 18.5% vote share in 2024 in a BJP centric alliance showed that there was a huge gap. He was sidelined & punished for doing exactly what the BJP did (and succeeded) in Bengal.

It was easy to predict the anti-incumbency but the noise from TVK supporters was too much. While we saw anti-incumbency votes moving to AIADMK in rural areas the last few days were decisive when children & youngsters started to convince the elders to give Whistle one chance. We failed to gauge the final turnaround. That’s why you would see the increase in my polls for TVK. After the release of my exit poll I had said they may go as high as to 28%. But they breached 30%. I had calculated that in my play book but considering all the parameters my probability of TVK breaching 30% was only 5%. That eventually happened. You can see my scenario which I had shared before the release of exit poll.

Suvendu Adhikari has once again defeated Mamata Banerjee in a direct contest. In the 2021 elections, he defeated her in Nandigram. She then had her party’s winning candidate from Bhabanipur vacate the seat, contested the bypoll, and won. This time, Suvendu reached Bhabanipur and defeated her there as well. What a fighter and a leader!

INDI alliance has lost two titans on 4th May 2026. Stalin and Mamata Banerjee have lost their respective seats as well as states. The third titan Nitish Kumar had quit already. Sharad Pawar no longer in leadership position. Rahul Gandhi has no competition. That makes BJP happy.

@GanKanchi I hate DMK and thought ADMK+ were the best choice to dislodge them so voted for them. But me being a BJP guy didn't want ADMK coming to power as that would dent BJPs growth. No such confusion for the rest of voters, they just said fkuc both of them and voted TVK. Complete googly.

@NavalGeekSingh We have the local body elections, the Assembly and the Parliament elections. People vote and elect representatives in each of these and every caste creed religion activist stands in these elections. If a person or party is seen to be doing good people will elect.

I’m not against the BJP, but it’s technically not good for democracy if any political party wins all the states.

Sengottaiyan has a very good rapport with Annamalai… There is a good chance that through him, Vijay may try to lure Annamalai by offering him to join his cabinet in a key ministry like home… After all, Vijay needs experienced and capable administrators which his team lacks. He also knows that like him, Annamalai too is most popular. If he wins him over, effectively Vijay will have zero opposition! But I don’t think Annamalai will take that bait. After all, he refused central ministries and he won’t give up on BJP core values to whom he is permanently wedded. What do you think? Will Vijay offer? Will Annamalai accept?
