Is it me or is travel getting worse? Reno Tahoe used to be easy. Now no parking, constant delays. This morning we have to de-ice, but there are no de-icing trucks. My last 3 flights on American Airlines, I’m yet to make a connection. Ugh! Ridiculous.

Why I will never support vouchers: 1. They solve zero problems. 2. They undermine public schooling, and 3. Absent a vibrant public educational system our democracy is in trouble. But then, I think that’s the point. Please play the long game on this—it’s important.

Hey voucher fans. Let’s say I’m a member of a country club. But my city funds a public pool I don’t use. Can I please have a voucher that will help pay my dues? And to make it “fair,” give it to anyone who asks. If they can make up the difference they can “choose” the club too.
