One thing Korea quietly changes is your sense of time — people move fast, and life becomes very schedule-oriented. You start becoming more conscious of punctuality and time management because everything around you runs on structure. For example, buses and trains arrive so accurately that being “just a few minutes late” can genuinely throw off your plans for the day. Even meeting people at 2pm usually means actually being there at 2pm, not “almost 2” 😭 You also start noticing how quickly people eat, walk, shop, and move through daily routines. Food deliveries arrive surprisingly fast, appointments begin on time, and even crossing the road feels like everyone already has somewhere urgent to be 😭
