@BetsyDePumpo @RitaChizoba2 @BBCBreaking @BBCWorld You’re the one who clearly supports a dementia riddled lying psychopath. One who is ruining your country and now the global oil prices…tell me who’s the crashout…when you have a few more brain cells come back and we can have an adult conversation.

@RitaChizoba2 @BBCBreaking @BBCWorld Or you could’ve just left Iran alone and the strait would never have been closed in the first place. Oil prices never would have risen globally and American lives wouldn’t have been lost needlessly…

Trump just dropped the ultimate reality check on Iran: "Open the Strait of Hormuz by my deadline or your power plants and bridges get turned to dust." No more games. 20% of the world's oil has been choked off, gas prices are spiking globally, and America's not begging — we're dictating terms with strength. This is what winning looks like: bold leadership that puts American interests (and the free flow of energy) first. Mean tweets? Nah. Mean consequences.Iran's mullahs have two choices: comply or crumble. The clock's ticking. 💥🇺🇸 #Trump #Iran #StraitOfHormuz #AmericaFirst

@DavidBoink @BBCBreakfast I’m not telling anyone how to behave in public, I’m asking them to show respect in a theatre. Very different. And if you do know respect why do you have such a huge problem with people asking you to show it in a theatre? That’s all it is at the end of the day.

@eamonncoxuk @BBCBreakfast There's no need. I've received and given plenty respect & admiration but what i dont do is tell people how to behave in public and blame it on the parents.

Singer Melody Thornton has apologised after rowdy audience members halted a performance of The Bodyguard musical. Actor Charles Brunton told #BBCBreakfast he's experienced similar problems while performing in other musicals and plays bbc.co.uk/news/uk-englan…

@DavidBoink @BBCBreakfast Maybe no one has ever shown you respect and thus you have no idea what it is or how to show it yourself. For this I am truly sorry, the world really has let you down.

@eamonncoxuk @BBCBreakfast Acceptable choices in your opinion. You need to accept the world dont revolve around you and other people have different mannerisms. If you dont like the way the world has turned perhaps you should quit live performance and stick to the studio.

@DavidBoink @BBCBreakfast Hahahaha that’s so funny, you are correct, the world doesn’t revolve around me. Not sure where I said it did? No they ARE acceptable choices to anyone with good manners and respect for others. The more we speak the more apparent it becomes that you don’t know what respect is…

@DavidBoink @das_munch @LessGrumpy @The_Ambassador_ @BBCBreakfast In this situation alcohol may have been a contributing factor yes. But it’s not always. And also alcohol doesn’t change who you are, it amplifies your qualities. Some people can go to the theatre and get smashed and yet still show respect to those performing for them.

@eamonncoxuk @das_munch @LessGrumpy @The_Ambassador_ @BBCBreakfast I cant believe you just blamed parents. You think/know alcohol is involved yet as the same time you're saying those coherent enough to sing along are the way they are because of parenting? Have you any idea how ludicrous that reads? i reckon inebriation has more to do with it.

@DavidBoink @BBCBreakfast No, see that’s not true at all, which you’d know if you’d actually read my tweets properly! The audience have plenty of acceptable choices in how they behave that show praise and gratitude. Singing along is not one of them. Never has been. Since the first opera was performed.

@eamonncoxuk @BBCBreakfast Yes i've read and digested all that you've written. You want control of your audience and you want them to behave how you see fit. How the audience choose to express themselves seems to be irrelevant and i think you're forgetting this is all part of the parcel.

@DavidBoink @BBCBreakfast Firstly the saying is ‘The show must go on.’ And it doesn’t apply to this situation. And once again, singing over the top of a professional show (unless prompted to do so) is not showing appreciation. It’s actually saying ‘I can do this just as well as the trained pro’

@eamonncoxuk @BBCBreakfast If that's what you want you're heading in right direction however if you want people to show their appreciation when they consider it due you'll have to learn to live with the interuption. Let the show go on as they say.

@DavidBoink @das_munch @LessGrumpy @The_Ambassador_ @BBCBreakfast It’s not the theatres fault that the behaviour of some of the general public is falling into disgrace. It’s not our job to correct the parenting failures on show when people show disrespect in theatres. All we can do is set a good example and hope that it is reciprocated.

@DavidBoink @das_munch @LessGrumpy @The_Ambassador_ @BBCBreakfast This is the problem though David. The problems are all linked. Theatre staff are abused because they’re asking people to show respect and be quiet. If people showed respect and stayed quiet the staff wouldn’t have to subject themselves to physical/emotional/racial abuse.

@DavidBoink @das_munch @LessGrumpy @The_Ambassador_ @BBCBreakfast Yes the actors don’t like it. In the same way you wouldn’t if you were the highly trained actor attempting to perform for people who had paid lots of money to watch you. I suggest the theatres do nothing. It’s not on them to expect the public to show respect to others.

@eamonncoxuk @das_munch @LessGrumpy @The_Ambassador_ @BBCBreakfast You call it narrow minded if you wish, i call it staying on topic. If you wanna add what else goes on that's your prerogative as Bobby Brown would say. i get it, the actors dont like it but what do you suggest theatre does, screen everyone on entry or what?

@DavidBoink @BBCBreakfast So it’s ok for audiences to be expected to be silent, except when prompted, for a gameshow… but god forbid an actor should ask for the same respect?!

@eamonncoxuk @BBCBreakfast So you'll accept cheers and praise on your terms but god forbid anyone should applaud when they wish to. As far as i can see this is all the more reason for card prompts like you have at any gameshow. Sincerity is irrelevant.
