@MGilbranch Teach the grammar on a flipchart and then that sheet goes up. Nice and big, written by the teacher and referred to often.

Please, please, please STOP downloading grammar posters from Twinkl, laminating them and putting them up. The posters will not help the children learn, will mean nothing to them and are often littered with mistakes…

Former PM @HonTonyAbbott joins the Gladys-for-Warringah push, telling the @smh the former NSW Premier has an 'instinct for freedom' that would serve federal Parliament well. #auspol

Today I apologized for not having everything organized and labeled “because this semester has been so much more exhausting than I thought it would be.” And a student goes “what if we went on strike? Like all of us? They can’t do this with no teachers AND no students.”

Having announced my imminent departure from school to parents yesterday, one parent chose to accuse me of abandoning her daughter and questioned my right to leave my job 1/3 of the way through the year. This might be one of the reasons I am leaving the profession.

@you_burr @peachlemonbee I always prefer that kind of stuff. I carried a letter for years from a parent who just wrote the most beautiful words.

@peachlemonbee My students know I will cry any time they make me a handmade card and that I will profusely thank parents for bringing me a cup of hot coffee. What more is there to know?

Anyone else caught off guard this year? Quick dash to Aldi to fill this old girl for the teenagers. I wonder if they’ll notice? 🧐🤶
