@CxtArtz Also his shape and proportions are not 'normal'; his arms are unnaturally bulky, his legs are too short and his head is almost as big as his body, but these might all be cartoony exaggeration (Gragas, apart from the head, is similarly proportioned)

@CxtArtz And by monstrous traits I don't mean necessary something scary, I mean that maybe instead of being just a humanoid hippo she could be something that resembles a humanoid hippo but it's not quite exactly right. Like maybe more arms or unnatural colors or textures

2nd Maybe she should be more aesthetically aligned with the other demons? It's true that they usually shapeshift but they tend to maintain certain monstrous traits

Also in these cases of "saving an animal that was going to be eaten" we are basically killing the other animal in return, as we don't allow them to eat

vegans go on and on about unnecessary suffering but for some reason never mention anything about the unnecessary suffering that humans endure in capitalism. you don't care about suffering, you care about feeling superior to other humans by some arbitrary metric

@oposssumgirl @iedtwt Other animals hunt (and therefore kill) for survival and ofc that doesn't hold any moral value, but we can perfectly survive without eating animal products and yet we not only do it but we do it in the most terrible way for the animals we eat

@oposssumgirl @iedtwt "Eating animals" in itself isn't a bad thing. Exploiting, breeding, torturing and killing hundreds of millions of animals it's the bad thing, and we do differ from other omnivores/carnivores in that regard; Bears might eat salmons but they aren't making fish farms

@UkeCreature I do think we all have some level of dysphoria, but sometimes it's just social. If that girl wants to be called a woman and use femenine pronouns its because being called a men caused her discomfort and pain. Her don't wanting to physically transition doesn't change that.

@UkeCreature I would say the core thing about being trans is wanting to be recognized as a gender that doesn't align with what society has forced upon us, and the way we feel about it and how we want to achieve that just varies from person to person.

@UkeCreature Many people in many groups have different needs and experiences but share others (those that made them belong to that group) thats how you get intersectionality. If you want a name to differentiate yourself from them you just used it, "dysphoric people"
