Make dua without it and you are basically being Arrogant enough and assuming your Dua has enough power to reach God directly. We are mortals, we cant connect to God without a structure

Obviously if you go directly to the manager's room you will still get cash but the manager (God) wont be happy about it. Go thru the clerk (hujjah) and the process will be faster.

You dont directly go the manager but ask the clerk for money. Asking the clerk isnt "shirk" to the manager, its natural and the fastest, easiest way
