DeePle Gen 2 drop is now complete! I want to sincerely thank everyone who minted or picked one up on the secondary. You’re the reason artists like me can keep dreaming and doing what I love for a living. Now, if I’m being honest, the drop didn’t quite meet expectations, and the demand wasn’t as strong as I had hoped. I don’t think I was mentally prepared to see the floor drop so close to mint (was kind of freaking out), but then again, this is part of the game, and I have to adapt and move forward. There are probably a lot of things I could’ve done differently for a better result. It’s been a deeply humbling experience. That said, my vision for DeePle hasn’t changed. I still want to expand and reach as many people as possible by increasing supply, building something genuine, open, and accessible. The goal isn’t just to focus on asset value, but to make DeePle something more inclusive and creative for everyone. On a positive note, we successfully grew the collection from 500 to 1,500 and doubled our holder count. I’m excited to see the community continue to grow. My next focus is clear: to make meaningful improvements to DeePle. I’m committed to building the brand and creating for those who truly believe in it. I may not have all the answers right now, but as an artist, it’s my job to search for them and keep pushing forward. Again, thank you to all the DeePlers, I’m going to do my best to make you proud. Also, the OpenSea item mint count was much higher than I expected. I don’t want that to go to waste, so you can expect some burn-to-redeem events in the future. Last thing, I’ve decided to sweep some floors, just enough to bring the price to what I feel is more reasonable. The rest of the supply will be vaulted, and I’ll be using that to bring in new holders whenever the time feels right.
