Even though i do like darker fiction, personally I never tire of hope overcoming despair and the power of friendship tropes because its really hard out here in the world right now.

A grumpy man can control a family without ever raising his voice. He just has to make his displeasure expensive enough. A long silence at dinner. A ruined car ride. Soon, everyone starts pre-adjusting. The kids are told “not now” before they can ask. She chooses the restaurant he likes, the movie he won’t complain through, the route that avoids traffic because traffic makes him unbearable. This is how a household becomes organized around one person’s refusal to regulate themselves.

look at the difference between the old & the new (reformulated) oatside milk 🥹 we’ve been testing the waters with this reformulated batch and so far, we’re not liking it :( the reformulated batch is thin, watery, and has an aftertaste that we really cant point a finger on. it’s malabnaw & not as creamy as it used to be. it’s still good, but we might switch to a different oatmilk for now :’) we’ve found an alternative that’s very similar to their old batch and are still looking for other options! so if you see us using a different milk on our pop-ups, we wanna assure you that our team made sure to still serve you with quality drinks that we personally tried & tested 🤎
