After reading “Dos Primos” in Wonders, we were inspired to make tamales! We read “Tamales for Sunday” watched real chefs, learned from Señora Maria Cutz hands on, & then enjoyed tamales. Literacy, culture, and joy culminated on the “100th day of school.” #SoaringIsOurSUPERpower

This week our ELA PLC’s were intentional. @GullattES1 we don’t practice delivering instruction in front of our students. In PLC’s we practice perfect and provide feedback to enhance the quality of Tier 1 instruction we provide to our students. @TishaBentley

This week I had the pleasure of escorting some of our @GullattES1 Beta Club members to the state convention. Although we didn’t place, our students learned so much, and will be ready next year! So proud of GBC (Gullatt’s Beta Club)!
