@TFHypeGuy Always love Lullabi's work so that was a treat for me. The story is interesting, but I feel like there was so much empty space in the chapter...some narration or something to add to the pages where there's not as much going on would've helped make this feel more complete to me

@MagnusMedic cuz im also just realizing, with the General Knights having less public favor, it'd be easy for the footsoldiers to help spread dissent by disguising themselves as citizens and sharing negative opinions with a crowd to get the sentiment they want out there

@MagnusMedic Yeah....no one's touching them yet cuz they could b dangerous, and it'd be easy for the invaders to communicate if they send messengers to float back to their home base Im really hoping this is the Footsoldier antagonist arc cuz there's so much potential here

@MagnusMedic That too, the towers are clearly meant to build tension and get people talking, so planting a bunch of assassins wouldn’t really make sense atm Plus we do still have plenty of living footsoldiers who could be trained to do this instead of needing to make new ones

@flimbabble I guess the biggest question would be: why would they want this? So far we havent seen like some mass footsoldier hate post Ranger disbanding

@MagnusMedic Yeah that’s a wrinkle, i guess the chaos of people dying or mutating would add to whoever they manage to turn into a footsoldier? But if its totally random then it’d be hard to make that work

@flimbabble Sounds like some shit Kenjaku would cook up. I wonder if it would be refined to have a 100% successrate or at least a higher one cuz rn its like at best a 1 in 7 chance of becoming a footsoldier when exposed to divine energy and like 1 in 14 at worst
