The most amazing update! Millie was happy to be out of QT but she was still a little muted. So I just opened the gate and let her go, and go she did!And it’s like a switch flipped. She is so happy and has become so friendly and curious about us. She’s still making friends (Clarence the pony loves her, Evelyn not so much) but she is happy and she knows she’s safe… This is what it’s all about! We reciwced an additional $410 in donations yesterday leaving us at $3,590 left to raise for our August hay fundraiser. Venmo: @TheBridge-Sanctuary PayPal: thebridgeintx@gmail.com CashApp: $redransom Zelle: (626) 676-2556 Direct link: paypal.com/paypalme/thebr… And as always we remain grateful for the help. #safe #rescue #ottb #thoroughbred #Texas #ForgottenToForever

Tyler’s Sensation 4/7/2019 - 6/7/2025 It was my honor and privilege… 💔

😢💔😢💔 We are all heartbroken over the passing of Tyler's Sensation. Margaret at The Bridge Sanctuary did everything she could to save him but his prior neglect and abuse was too advanced. Tyler is at peace now and no one can hurt him anymore. So many people failed this horse. We cannot let Tyler die in vain and must continue on advocating for change and better protection for thoroughbreds after their racing careers have ended. Thank you to Leah and Christina for pitching in with us to rescue Tyler and to Margaret for opening her heart and farm to him. In the end some people did care. ❤️His life mattered. Thank you to everyone for the condolences. We know many of your hearts are broken too. @TheBridgeSanct1

Many of you remember 1990 Horse of the Year and champ older horse CRIMINAL TYPE!⭐️ The powerful son of Alydar - Klepto, by No Robbery won 7 of 11 starts in '90, including the G1 Pimlico Special. He was owned by Calumet Farm, trained by Wayne Lukas, ridden that day by Jose Santos.
