i assumed both attendings suggesting geriatrics to samira as a callback to her being introducing her to us as “slow-mo” in s1 was gonna lead to another growth arc that would resolve in the finale, now im supposed to believe they were “clues” and she was never meant to fit in? lol

This is not true. ER and Grey’s Anatomy didn’t have a rotating cast. The first main character to leave ER left mid-season 3, the first to leave Grey’s left in season 5. The Pitt has written out 2 WOC in 2 seasons. Not at all the same.
